MEMORIES are on the menu at Our Lady Help of Christians School this year as the school celebrates 75 years of delivering Quality Catholic education in Hendra.
Celebrations begin with a thanksgiving Mass on Sunday, February 19 celebrated by Bishop Brian Finnigan, supported by both past and present parish priests.
A barbeque will follow with opportunities for staff, school families, parishioners and guests to reminisce about the past and look to the present and the future of the school.
Throughout the year the school and parish will host a number of opportunities for the community to give thanks, reconnect with old friends, view some memorabilia and have fun.
It will include the School Fete on May 27 and a Gala Dinner on October 13
Principal Joe Miranda said the year ahead was a great opportunity to celebrate all that was good about Catholic schooling over the last 75 years in the Hendra community.
“Make sure you save these dates in your diaries and register your interest so we can keep you up to date with all the 75th celebration event details.
“And please encourage any interested friends and family to register as well to ensure we keep them in the loop,” he said.
