Our Vision for the future

Brisbane Catholic Education launched an aspirational Vision in 2019 to guide our community into the future. Brisbane Catholic Education is a faith-filled learning community creating a better future. Five focus areas prioritise the future direction with: celebrating our Catholic culture, inspiring a love of learning, cultivating a connected community, nurturing our professional workforce, and embracing change and continuous improvement.

The Vision:

  • reflects the many voices of the Brisbane Catholic Education community and beyond including local and international experts.
  • will inform the next strategic plan scheduled for development in 2020.
  • gives us an inspirational and practical framework for our strategic planning and celebrates our faith, which remains at the heart of all that we do.

Organisational design review

In 2019, Brisbane Catholic Education undertook an organisational design review to:

  • pursue innovative ways of working to achieve our new Vision
  • create a responsive design to our changing environment
  • future proof our organisation to realise growth and positive educational outcomes.

The review was undertaken through a collaborative process to develop a contemporary organisational design focused on strategic alignment and service delivery. A staged approach will see the new design in place in 2020, and is expected to position Brisbane Catholic Education well to fulfil its mission inspired by the Gospel to teach, challenge and transform into the future.
