Establishing a Catholic Dialogue Schools Network
Schools engaged enthusiastically with the Catholic Dialogue Schools project, supporting the Strong Catholic Identity strategy. Fifteen new schools, in addition to the 53 existing schools, continued to explore a contemporary, evidence-based approach to nurturing identity and inviting communities into a relationship with Jesus and the Catholic faith.
The Catholic Dialogue Schools Network was also established to build collaborative practices and support engagement of the Catholic Dialogue Schools Project cohort in their school-based processes for goal setting, monitoring and reporting in progress.
The Masterclass Speaker Series showcased thought-provoking speakers to share wisdom, provide inspiration, encourage scholarship, and develop ethos. The focus this year was on Catholic school identity, with thanks to a range of inspiring presenters:
Fr Anthony Gittins, Formation for Mission: From Founders to Future Church
Professor Trevor Cooling, Doing God in Education: Looking through a Christian Lens and Making Christian Values Authentic
Mr John Roberto, Reimagining Faith Formation.
