A selection panel will be formed for all advertised positions. The panel will consist of at least two members, the Panel Chair (normally the hiring principal/manager) and another person who has suitable skills and experience.
The panel will review your application and resume. Applicants who meet all eligibility criteria will then be assessed on their ability to fulfil the selection criteria. If shortlisted you will be contacted and invited to interview.
You will be interviewed by the Panel Chair and the selection panel. You will be asked about your capacity to fulfil the role and have an opportunity to ask questions.
You are asked to provide a current/previous principal/line manager and a second professional referee contact. Some positions will also ask for a religious referee if relevant to the role.
Ensure you inform your referees that you have nominated them as a referee prior to providing their contact details.
At BCE we complete each recruitment process as quickly as possible. Shortlisting is usually completed within two weeks of the closing date. If there is to be an extended period between the closing date and shortlisting process, you will be notified where possible.

If you are successful, the hiring principal or manager will phone you and provide a verbal offer of employment. If you accept the verbal offer, BCE will issue you an employment agreement to your nominated email address.

Will I be notified if I am not successful?
If you were not successful in being shortlisted, you will be advised via email. If you were interviewed, the hiring principal or manager will phone you.
