BCE students ready to rock out at this year’s Battle of the ROCK Bands!

Clairvaux MacKillop College Upper Mt Gravatt is gearing up to host the annual 2022 Battle of the ROCK Bands, with 30 high school bands from across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Redcliffe, Ipswich and Manly ready to perform across the festival (October 6, 7 & 8). 

Some of the Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) schools performing on across the rock festival include; San Sisto College, St Augustine’s College, Clairvaux MacKillop College, Trinity College, Southern Cross Catholic College, Chisholm Catholic College, Mt. Maria College, St John Fisher College, Carmel College, St Peter Claver College, Emmaus College and St Thomas More College.  

Clairvaux MacKillop College Principal Christine Clarke said the school is proud to host the “spectacular” three-day event.   
             
 “We have so many amazing and talented students and I encourage our wider BCE community to come along and support this year’s Battle of the ROCK Bands,” she said. 

The event will be staged in the college’s Mary MacKillop Learning Centre, Klumpp Road, Upper Mt Gravatt. 

The performances start at 6:30pm each night and there will be food vans and coffee vans on site from 5pm. 

There will be limited parking onsite, parking is also available via a short walk from the Park and Ride faciliity on Klumpp Road.  

Tickets to the event are $10.00 each.
