Get to know some of BCE’s principals in their new roles - Warren Bath

Principal Warren Bath San Sisto College Carina 

Having worked in and led schools across the Brisbane, Toowoomba, and Rockhampton Diocese, Warren Bath is looking forward to joining San Sisto College Carina in 2023 as Principal. 


Warren has a deep understanding of student well-being and youth mental health as an experienced educator.  

“From my experience teaching and in school leadership roles a key to successful learning comes through collaboration,” Warren said.  

“San Sisto has forged some incredible university partnerships and created programs to promote women—regardless of their desired career path—and I am excited to continue this great work. 

When speaking about his passion for education, the avid mountain-biker said tailoring pedagogy to better support girls engage in successful learning is as critical as supporting their mental health and wellbeing. 

“Education is both for life and about life, and must be grounded in faith, respect, and accommodating the uniqueness of each learner.” 

For the last five years, Warren has been Principal of fellow Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) school, Seton College Mt Gravatt East. He has been a previous Deputy Principal at St Mary’s College Ipswich, Assistant Principal of Trinity College Beenleigh, and has also served six years in senior roles for the Office of the Executive Director at Brisbane Catholic Education.​ ​
