School funding distribution

To comply with the Australian Education Act, Brisbane Catholic Education schools receive their Australian Government recurrent funding according to a “Base” and Loadings” formula which is directly linked to the community’s capacity to contribute and student need.

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students;
• students with a disability;
• students with English as a second language; and
• students with a socio-educational disadvantage.
