Income
In 2019, Brisbane Catholic Education received an income of $1,210.2 million, of which $1,076.2 million was recurrent funding. The main source of this income was Australian and Queensland Government grants for the provision of educational services.

Expenses
Brisbane Catholic Education’s total expenses for 2019 were $1,193.8 million, of which $1,052.2 million was recurrent funding.
During 2019 expenses included:
School direct staffing costs
School resourcing and educational support services
* such as administration, insurance, maintenance and utilities.
As a result, Brisbane Catholic Education achieved an operating surplus of $16.4 million in 2019.
