Keeping track of who is who just got harder at St Peter's Primary School, Rochedale as three sets of twins begin their schooling journey (Wednesday 28 January).

To mark the occasion, the Prep pairs joined 12 other twins from across the school for a special photoshoot.

Twice the times Parents agreed it was a ‘two’ good to be true moment seeing their little ones start school altogether.

St Peter’s Primary School Parent Kylie said, “Alice and Ivy are very excited to start school”.

“They have been wearing their new school shoes around the house with their socks pulled up to their knees,” she said.

“Alice and Ivy look up to their older sister Maggie so much.

“It is reassuring to know that Maggie will be a great role model for them as they navigate “big school.”

Learning in sync Proud Principal Michael McInerney said, “the twins marched in with confidence, proving that starting Prep is twice as exciting when you’ve got a built-in best friend”.

“We are a close-knit community here at St Peter’s Primary School and we value strong relationships,” he said.

“It’s great to have so many siblings and twins across our school, they really just add to this connection and closeness we all feel with one another.”

Michael adds, “despite their similarities as twins at St Peter’s Primary School we recognise that each child is a unique gift from God”.

“As the twins begin their Prep journey my greatest hope is that they discover the joy of learning and grow into their own unique selves as learners and people within our community.”
