Meet BCE’s Secondary College Captains for 2026

As the 2026 school year begins, a new generation of student leaders are stepping forward across Brisbane Catholic Education’s (BCE) 146 schools. 

From secondary campuses to Prep to Year 12 schools, these 86 newly appointed College Captains are taking on the responsibility of leading, serving and inspiring their communities across South East Queensland. 

Whether mentoring younger students, representing their peers or championing the values that define a Catholic education, BCE’s 2026 College Captains are ready to make their mark! 

Aquinas College, Ashmore Principal Marcus Richardson said, “we are proud to announce Tabitha and Riley as the Aquinas College Captains for 2026”. 

“Tabitha and Riley are outstanding learners, passionate advocates for social justice, and role models who embody the values of Aquinas,” he said. 

“We look forward to the leadership they will bring as they step into this important role.”

Clairvaux MacKillop College, Upper Mount Gravatt: College Captains Julieta and Leo. 

“As part of the Student Leadership Team for 2026, we are eager to create new and exciting ideas to strengthen Clairvaux MacKillop College’s community and spirit. We want to encourage students, present and new to reach out and form lasting connections with each other and teachers alike. Our goal is to make the school year enjoyable for everyone whilst supporting our peers in achieving the littles things, as they usually make the biggest impact. We hope to continue creating a space where students feel supported and understood in order to build a community where everyone can rise up. Together, we are excited to foster moments that matter, working alongside the team to shape 2026 into a year to remember!”–Julieta and Leo.
