“Investing in school infrastructure is an investment in the future” – All Saints’ School, Boonah Principal Robert Campbell.

With 3,000 new residents expected to call Boonah home by 2041, All Saints’ School is ahead of the curve, having completed a $3.5 million upgrade to its facilities and infrastructure.

The works are ahead of their 70th anniversary celebrations in 2026, marking a milestone that honours the past while building for the future.

In preparation for an expected increase in student enrolments over the next 15 years, the completed works deliver a state‑of‑the‑art early years precinct and playground, four new classrooms, enhanced learning areas, a library extension, new learning support and technology spaces, upgraded administration facilities, a uniform and sports store, and 3,000 new reading resources.

For the first time in over two decades, All Saints’ will have straight year levels with 2 Prep classes and no multi-age classes.

A stronger school, a stronger community.

Principal Robert Campbell said, “our 70-year legacy within the Boonah community is a testament to our school’s commitment to continued innovation and growth”.

“Since 1956, our school has responded to the needs of our community,” he said.

“We’ve seen many upgrades over the past 70 years, yet this milestone upgrade is the largest in our history and will set our school community up for the future with spaces that are both inclusive, flexible and ready for the next generation.

“These future focused learning environments will equip students and the community for what’s next.

“By investing in our children today, we strengthen families, local partnerships and secure the future of our town.”

Strong foundations lead to strong futures

Robert adds, “we are not only celebrating our 70th year and completed works in 2026, but also our continued commitment to our local early learning communities”.

“Over the past two years, we have been working closely with Boonah District Kindergarten and Natures Kids Childcare to create a seamless transition for our potential future students and their families,” he said.

“Throughout the year, our Assistant Principal of Religious Education and I visit these kindergartens to read with the children, talk about school, and answer their questions about what ‘big school’ is really like.

“Building these connections with our future students helps ease their anxiety about starting school.

“They know when they see us welcoming them at the front gates that they’re entering a familiar, friendly environment, one that fosters trust with families and ensures a smooth transition into school life.”

Our commitment

Robert said in 2026, they also celebrate the continued success of their weekly playgroup program.

“Our playgroup is entering its sixth year of operation this year,” he said.

“From puzzle play to hula hoops, story time, and drawing, our playgroup has been instrumental in preparing children of Boonah for Prep.

“The program offers families an opportunity to get to know our school’s mission and values, build relationships with our educators, and become part of the fabric of our school community.

“These initiatives reflect a commitment to nurturing relationships and ensuring that future students feel welcomed and supported from their very first steps in education.”
