Celebrating the life and service of BCE Executive Director Dr Sally Towns

Brisbane Catholic Education celebrates the life and service of Executive Director, Dr Sally Towns, who passed away following a courageous battle with cancer.   

Across more than 30 years in Catholic education, Dr Towns served with faith, warmth and extraordinary dedication. During her four years as Executive Director of BCE, Sally led our 146 schools with vision, warmth and a steadfast commitment to faith-filled, inclusive and high-quality education for every student. She leaves a remarkable legacy and was an inspiration to all who worked alongside her. We will remember her leadership with gratitude for the hope she brought, the standards she set, and the lives she shaped through Catholic education. 

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Sally’s family and we thank God for her life of service.
