BCE Policies

In compliance with the requirements of the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 and the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Regulation 2011, BCE has developed a Child and Youth Risk Management Strategy (CYRMS) which references system wide policies and procedures which support the safety, protection and well-being of students.

Needs Based Funding Arrangements

BCE is a member of a Catholic Approved System Authority; specifically, the Queensland Catholic Education Commission (QCEC).  Per subsection 78(5) of The Australian Education Act 2013, funding received is able to be redistributed among our schools based on the individual needs of our students and schools.  Information regarding BCE's needs-based funding arrangements can be found in the document above.
