This Catholic Education Week Queensland (24-30 July), Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) is celebrating all that makes their 146 schools’ communities of Faith, Hope and Love.

During this week BCE Schools and Colleges will celebrate through a range of activities that recognise their distinctive ethos and mission.

At St Finbarr’s School Ashgrove, students are living out the ethos of ‘Faith, Hope, and Love' this Brisbane Catholic Education Week, with their Christmas Jumper fundraiser for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal, which took place Monday 25 July.

Throughout the year, BCE students also take part in other endeavours that strive to make a difference in the lives of those in our schools and the wider communities.

San Sisto College Carina and St John Vianney’s Primary School Manly are among the many BCE schools who partner with charities such as Rosies and Friends on the Street, to serve up warm meals, supplies, and provide company to the homeless and marginalised across Queensland.

All BCE schools are communities of faith, who look out for each other during hard times and take part in community service, and this is what makes having a Catholic Education distinct experience.

BCE Schools and Colleges pride themselves on providing holistic learning services, which provides students with the opportunity to fundraise and take part in social justice and community service.

Our mission is to create students who are well rounded contributing members of society and stewards of our environment, who create communities of hope everywhere they go.
