Archbishop Mark Coleridge officially launched Project Compassion, Caritas Australia’s annual Lenten appeal, at St Stephen’s Cathedral today.
Over 500 students from across BCE came together for the powerful liturgy, igniting their passion for faith and global justice.
The Archbishop urged us all to unite against poverty and give generously during Lent to help the poorest in our world come on a journey of hope this Jubilee Year.
Representatives from each school were presented with a special scroll to share with their school community to remind us that together we can take action to make a lasting difference.
For over 50 years, Project Compassion has raised millions to support marginalised communities around the world.
