Twenty-two Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) schools are preparing to go head-to-head with 43 other schools across the state at this year’s prestigious CQUniversity Queensland Independent Secondary Schools Netball (QISSN) Carnival. The event (29 to 4 July) is one of the most anticipated events on the Queensland school netball calendar and will this year see a total of 64 girl’s teams and 12 boy’s teams from 65 different schools compete.
BCE wishes all 22 BCE schools the very best for the carnival as they showcase their teamwork, resilience, and talent on the court.
The competition not only offers an exciting display of athleticism, skill, and school spirit but also provides a pathway for young athletes, with selectors and former professional netballers Vicki Wilson and Tracey Bruce on hand throughout this year’s carnival.
This year, Queensland Suns Junior Development Coach Craig Brown will be present on the day, assisting in the selection of emerging male netball talent.
