Get to know some of BCE’s principals in their new roles - Benedict Campbell

Principal Benedict Campbell – St Mary of the Cross Primary School Windsor 

With an array of principalships under his belt, Benedict Campbell is taking on his next big adventure as Principal of St Mary of the Cross School Windsor. ​

As a Principal, Benedict is known for his positive and welcoming attitude, his love for bush walking, his three children, his dog Ned, as well as his dad jokes.’ 
 
When speaking about his new role, Benedict said he is excited to work with a small school with a large community spirit. 

“I’m excited to contribute to an already wonderful school community and continue on the wonderful work of the former Principal Matthew Beacroft,” he said. 

“I’ve heard so many wonderful things about the St Mary of the Cross School community, and I look forward to getting to know the staff and students and understanding the community and life around the school. 

“As a Principal we play a key role as leaders within our community by supporting children’s education. 

“I look forward to not only playing a leading role in the Windsor community, but also seeking out big opportunities for my students to grow and engage within their community." 

When speaking about his passions he said he loves to get outdoors with his students. 

“I will be looking for opportunities to keep the students as active as possible,” he said. 

“For growing minds, I believe active days are so important.” 

Ben’s leadership experience includes Acting Assistant Principal Administration at St Dympna’s Parish School Aspley, Acting Principal at Our Lady of Dolours Primary School Mitchelton, Queen of Apostles Primary School Stafford, and St Ambrose’s Primary School Newmarket, as well as Assistant Principal Religious Education at St Ambrose’s Primary School Newmarket, and Queen of Apostles Primary School, Stafford.
