The finalists in the 2025 BCE Excellence Awards have come together for a special night honouring their dedication to our faith-filled learning communities.

Joining BCE Leaders, representatives from our sponsors, and special guest Vicar General, the Very Reverend Father Peter Dillon, it was a night of celebration as we recognised the outstanding achievements of staff from across BCE schools and offices.

This year, an impressive 478 nominations were received from 108 schools and the BCE Office, highlighting the depth of talent and commitment of BCE staff members who support our students to thrive each day.

With performances from talented BCE students from Sophia College Plainland, Good Samaritan College Bli Bli and Mt Maria College Mitchelton, more than 300 attendees enjoyed a night filled with joy, gratitude and hope.

BCE Executive Director, Dr Sally Towns, said in celebrating this year's nominees, we were reminded that when we commit ourselves to the flourishing of others, we honour God, and help shape futures grounded in compassion, wisdom, and truth.

“I congratulate each and every nominee - it is truly inspiring to see so many of our schools represented across the nominations," Sally said.

“You inspire us daily as a faith-filled learning community, creating a better and more hope-filled future through your unwavering commitment and service."

The awards were held at the Brisbane City Hall on Friday, 15 August. You can watch highlights of this special night below.

The 2025 BCE Excellence Awards are supported by our valued foundation sponsors; Teachers Union Health Fund (TUH), NGS Super, Australian Catholic University (ACU), Maximus, Smartsalary,  The Archdiocesan Development Fund (ADF), and Catholic School Parents Queensland.
