To help BCE students learn about the true meaning of Christmas, students from St Kevin’s School Benowa, Mother Teresa School Ormeau, and Queen of Apostles Primary School Stafford have all taken part in nativity plays.

The BCE students were eager to dress up as angels, MaryJoseph, and the three wise men, as they acted out Bible stories and sang Christmas carols for family and friends.

Southern Cross Catholic Colleges four campuses, Trinity College Beenleigh, and St John Fisher College Bracken Ridge are just a few of the many BCE schools who each collect non-perishable grocery items to help those in need, as part of the Vinnies Christmas Appeal each Christmas.

The Vinnies Christmas Appeal helps Australian families survive the increasing cost of living pressures throughout Christmas. The BCE school community’s generosity provides urgent relief for families through the appeal, giving them hope for a better future.

Throughout Advent, St John Fisher College and Our Lady’s College Annerley students took the time to spread Christmas joy at their local retirement villages. Together with the residents, the BCE students sang songs, performed dances, did arts and crafts, and played games with the residents.
