Principal Brett Kitchener is busy learning the ropes at his new school, St Joseph’s School Bracken Ridge.
“It’s been a busy but fulfilling year learning the St Joseph's way and living out our wonderful school motto Jesus in each Other,” Brett says.
“As a Principal, two of my biggest priorities are leading and encouraging our school community to authentically live out our mission and vision.”
During Term 1, the Principal says he has also been “focusing on fostering a school culture where wellbeing is prioritised for both staff and students.”
“It is important for our school to have a focused direction, where clear goals are articulated, leading to deep learning for all,” he says.
“I consider it a privilege to work in an environment with children where our Catholic Identity is celebrated and taught.
“The St Joseph’s students are a wonderful cohort who have impressed me with their respectful behaviour and welcoming attitudes.”
Brett added “On a personal level, I am enjoying the start of the football season, and can’t wait to get my students and staff involved in a game or two.”
